I am back from my wonderful trip to the UK! What a fantastic week it was, spent with my friend and her family.
I will be returning voice mail and email just as soon as I can and I thank you all for being patient with me while I was away!
Without further ado...here he is....Prince Cameron.........sigh...I miss him so much already....
Isn't she radiant?! She is very smitten with Cameron...and who wouldn't be?!
Unfortunately I am backed up with sessions and weddings that need my attention, so that will have to do for now.
Here's some trivia for your enjoyment!
* A purse is not counted in the "one carry on bag" rule traveling from the US to the UK, however it IS counted going in the opposite direction...sigh
*If you don't know that little factoid (of the one carry on bag rule), they will happily sell you a bag so you can put your extra stuff in and check it.
*You cannot carry on a lighter when boarding a plane in the US, but you can in the UK. (don't ask me why I know this!)
*You always have to take off your shoes going through security in the US, but just "sometimes" in the UK!
*Apparently us Americans all sound alike to some Brits. One asked if I was from Texas! Hmm must be that cool southern thang I got going on!
*They always tell you that you drive on the left side of the road and in the right side of the car, but what they forget to tell you is that you need to reverse your brain when looking "both ways" before crossing the street!
*Oh...and for the record, pedestrians don't appear to have the right of way!! So, see above and forget it, you will surely get hit anyway!
*Fish and Chips IS yummy in England, but ours is still pretty damn good!
*Last but not least... if you should be around the Thames River anytime soon....keep an eye out on some rubber duckies!
